President’s Message

We are developing our business globally
on the technological strengths of the Kawasaki Group.

President

Keiji Matsumura

As the core trading company of the Kawasaki Group, Kawasaki Trading Co., Ltd. has been operating more than 60 years. Our core competence is to supply the equipment and materials essential to manufacturing the robots, equipment and systems that the Kawasaki Group makes for hydraulic, marine and plant applications and to sell those items that the Kawasaki group manufactured.
But, we also develop business of our own, which includes selling energy products, air conditioning systems, steel and construction materials, and manufacturing equipment of all kinds sourced from outside the Kawasaki Group, as well as importing and exporting the products we handle. We additionally continue to expand our network of overseas operating bases and provide engineering and aftercare services.

It is the mission of the Kawasaki Group to pool its technological resources “for the good of the planet”. A “Global Kawasaki” aspires to be an integral part of a greater effort to “forge a better environment and brighter future for generations to come”. At Kawasaki Trading, we are doing our share to fulfill this mission by providing products and services that create new values for customers and help steer society in the right direction.

OPEN UP
THE
FUTURE

Spinning people into yarn

Our new slogan of “Open up the future by spinning people into yarn” analogizes the way we turn customer needs into products, projects and businesses by connecting people with people to the process of twisting threads spun from cocoons into yarn and weaving that yarn into fabric. It additionally expresses our strong determination to work flexibly with customers in order to coauthor a new story that opens up the future to both them and us.

We will continue to grow into the company we aspire to be – liked and needed by our customers, suppliers, shareholders, employees and the local communities that host our operations.I hope for your continued patronage and support.
