2. Advantages of Swing Compressors

1) High efficiency in low pressure region

As shown in the graph, a swing compressor with inlet and outlet valves acts like a screw compressor at a design pressure of 7 kg, but becomes increasingly efficient at lower design pressures. Because of this advantage, swing compressors are used in applications ranging from instrument air sources operating at around 7 kg/cm2 to powder transport air sources operating at around 2 kg/cm2. We have delivered more than 3,000 swing compressors in Japan.

2)Completely oil-free

The compression chamber, sealed by self-lubricating carbon, is separated from the oil-lubricated driving unit and has a space in between that is open to the atmosphere. Thus, the lubricating oil will never become mixed with the air in the event of an accident or failure.

3)Simplicity of daily maintenance

Swing compressors require minimal maintenance for operation.

Their performance is kept with astonishing stability simply by maintaining only three items: (1) oil pressure, (2) cooling water and (3) electric current. Since they are water-cooled, they will not break down under high ambient temperature in summer.

4)On-site repairs

In the case of any trouble, the compressor does not have to be repaired at the factory; repairs can be completed easily at the customer's site.
